set_readonly

set_readonly($path,$on=true); - this function is used to change the READONLY attribute of the specified file

The function accepts parameters as input:

  • $path – path to the file that we want to change the attribute (string) for. It can be either absolute or relative (relative to the script folder).
  • $on – flag for the attribute, if true, the attribute will be set, and if false - unchecked (boolean).

    After testing, the function returns the result of its work to the script :
  • true – successfully changed (boolean)
  • false – there is no such file (boolean)

    PHP example: file_os->".basename(__FILE__)."
    "; //1 echo "1.Check the 'readonly' attribute for the file:"; echo $file_os->is_readonly("test \ test1.txt")."
    "; //2 echo "2.Remove the 'readonly' attribute for the file:"; echo $file_os->set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", false)."
    "; //3 echo "3.Check the 'readonly' attribute for the file:"; if(!$file_os->is_readonly("test \ test1.txt")) echo "not readonly
    "; //4 echo "4.Set the 'readonly' attribute for the file:"; echo $file_os->set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", true)."
    "; //end echo "

    "; //Quit $app->quit(); ?>
    Python example: # Additional paths import sys sys.path.insert(0, '../../../Templates PY/') xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7010" from xweb_human_emulator import * # Start echo("
    file_os.xxxxxxxxx
    ") # 1 echo("1.Check 'readonly' attribute for file:") echo(file_os.is_readonly("test \ test1.txt"), "
    ") # 2 echo("2.Remove the 'readonly' attribute for the file:") echo(file_os.set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", false), "
    ") # 3 echo("3.Check 'readonly' attribute for file:") if not file_os.is_readonly("test \ test1.txt"): echo("not readonly
    ") # 4 echo("4.Set the 'readonly' attribute for the file:") echo(file_os.set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", true), "
    ") # end echo("

    ") # Quit app.quit()
    C# example: #region using using System; using System.Diagnostics; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.IO; using System.Text; using System.Threading; using XHE; using XHE.XHE_DOM; using XHE.XHE_System; using XHE.XHE_Window; using XHE.XHE_Web; #endregion class Program: XHEScript { static void Main(string [] args) { //init XHE server = "127.0.0.1:7010"; InitXHE(); //Start echo("

    "); //end echo("

    "); app.quit(); } }
    Java Script example: //connect the object to control the emulator, if not already connected xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7010"; echo = require("../../../Templates JS/xweb_human_emulator.js"); //Start echo("
    file_os.set_readonly
