is_readonly

is_readonly($path); - this function is used to check whether the specified file has the READONLY attribute

The function accepts parameters as input:

  • $path – path to the file whose attribute we want to check (string). It can be either absolute or relative (relative to the script folder).

    After testing, the function returns the result of its work to the script :
  • true – the file has the attribute READONLY (boolean)
  • false – the file does not have such an attribute or there is no such file (boolean)

    PHP example:

    <?php $xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7010";

    //connect the object to control the emulator, if not already connected
    if(!isset($path))
       $path = "../../../Templates/xweb_human_emulator.php";
    require($path);

    //Start
    echo "<hr> <font color = blue> file_os->".basename(__FILE__)."</font> <hr>";

    //1
    echo "1.Check the 'readonly' attribute for the file:";
    echo $file_os->is_readonly("test \ test1.txt")."<br>";

    //2
    echo "2.Remove the 'readonly' attribute for the file:";
    echo $file_os->set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", false)."<br>";

    //3
    echo "3.Check the 'readonly' attribute for the file:";
    if(!$file_os->is_readonly("test \ test1.txt"))
    echo "not readonly <br>";

    //4
    echo "4.Set the 'readonly' attribute for the file:";
    echo $file_os->set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", true)."<br>";

    //end
    echo "<hr> <br>";

    //Quit
    $app->quit();
    ?>

    Python example:

    # Additional paths
    import sys
    sys.path.insert(0, '../../../Templates PY/')

    xhe_host = "127.0.0.1:7011"
    from xweb_human_emulator import *

    # Start
    echo("<hr> <font color = blue> file_os.xxxxxxxxx </font> <hr>")

    # 1
    echo("1.Check 'readonly' attribute for file:")
    echo(file_os.is_readonly("test \ test1.txt"), "<br>")

    # 2
    echo("2.Remove the 'readonly' attribute for the file:")
    echo(file_os.set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", false), "<br>")

    # 3
    echo("3.Check 'readonly' attribute for file:")
    if not file_os.is_readonly("test \ test1.txt"):
         echo("not readonly <br>")

    # 4
    echo("4.Set the 'readonly' attribute for the file:")
    echo(file_os.set_readonly("test \ test1.txt", true), "<br>")

    # end
    echo("<hr> <br>")

    # Quit
    app.quit()

    //end
    echo("<hr> <br>");

    app.quit();
    }
    }
